With The Mummy 3 hitting theaters August 1st you had better bet that there's a movie tie-in game on the way...
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor allows players to switch seamlessly between gunplay and hand-to-hand melee attacks, and also features a fast and fluid combat system and an arsenal of weaponry that can be used to vanquish the many bone-chilling enemies players will face during their journey.
Blah Blah Blah, Tomb Raider clone - expect to fight endless skeletons, Asian-themed soldiers, and probably yeti. Yetis? Whatever. I'm opposed to these boring, half-assed movie-tie-in videogames - they're all boring, and rushed to coincide with the release of whatever movie they're associated with. See also: Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda Game, Space Chimps the Game, The Incredible Hulk Game, and Wall-E the Game.
C'mon Hollywood, stop wasting money on sh*tty movie tie-in games and start putting the money into better films.
Skip this one, folks. Not only will you not have the movie plot spoiled for you, but you can hang on to the $40+ to spend on movie tickets.
