Kate Beckinsale
There are a few things in life that I love, and one of the big ones is movies. The only thing better than a movie is a movie with Kate Beckinsale. I don’t care what you have to say about her, you can’t not like her. She’s cute, innocent, incredibly beautiful, and the moment her mouth opens and that oh-so-appealing accent hits my ears, I officially become 100% useless to anybody and anything. The fact that she plays in some physically demanding roles is simply the icing on the cake to what already seemed to be, at least in my mind, the perfect package.
The first time I ever saw Kate Beckinsale was in Serendipity, a clear as day “chick flick”. I’m not usually one for those types of movies, but all it took was the accent and curly hair, and I was sold. For a while afterwards I really forget about her as an actress, until Underworld came out. Backinsale plays a hot vampire and in the movie and pulls it off perfectly, finally allowing us to see how physical she can get. Continuing with the hot semi-gothic look, Kate plays, ironically enough, a vampire hunter in Van Helsing.
Recently, and later this year, she’s doing more drama movies than anything else. I really don’t care what she’s in; I’m pretty much willing to give it a chance as long as she’s in it.
